General information

After the good reception of the course given in person, we want to offer it to all those who could not attend. In this way we respond to the demand of many professionals who claim to have a limited and fragmented knowledge about the main issues related to psychiatric and neuropsychological aspects of HIV-positive patients.

International experts share their knowledge with a practical approach. In six sessions, offered weekly, this course is a tool that facilitates the basic concepts for better diagnosis and treatment:

  • Session 1. VIV and the CNS. Scott Letendre & Andrea Calcagno

  • Session 2. CNS opportunistic diseases. Paola Cinque & Esteban Martinez

  • Session 3. Anxiety, depression and other psychiatric disorders. Annemiek Schadé & Guida Da Ponte

  • Session 4. Substance-related and addictive disorders. Antoine Douaihy & Jordi Blanch

  • Session 5. Neurocognitive impairment and neurorehabilitation. Alan Winston & Ignacio Pérez-Valero

  • Session 6. Quality of life and psychological support. José Muñoz-Moreno & María José Fuster.

We encourage you to share this information with anyone who may be interested.

To access the course completely free of charge, it is only necessary to register.
